A Message from the GSSA Board of Directors

Welcome to the Greater Sycamore Soccer Association!

GSSA strives to be an organization that provides an opportunity for both kids and their parents to learn and participate in the game of soccer. To do this requires much effort and dedication from the GSSA Board of Directors, our Coaches, and our Sponsors.

Realizing this level of support in past seasons, GSSA has been able to become a much stronger, quality-focused organization. The GSSA Board of Directors will continue to be focused on the following areas to ensure future growth : 

• Player Development
• Coach Training And Retention
• Referee Training And Retention
• Parent Soccer Education 
   

In a time when youth sports are becoming increasingly competitive, we often forget the real reason behind our participation. This sometimes leads to unprofessional conduct on the playing fields. This behavior will not be tolerated within GSSA. We, as a community of volunteers and supporters for our children, must remain focused on the task at hand - to learn and participate in the game of soccer. It is suggested you work through the Level Coordinator with any issues you might encounter. Please feel free to e-mail them at their address found within the Who's Who at GSSA page.

Youth soccer should be a fun, rewarding, and memorable experience for everyone. I encourage each of you to get involved as a volunteer. I look forward to seeing you on the field!
